A homage to the artpiece "Narrow escape", Michael Tedja

About Narrow Escape

Escape from the political reality and creating a fictional space is what this art piece is about. “All good art manages to escape so it doesn’t get framed by any political reality.” It’s hard not to be put in any kind of box these days. Stories are created around people because of political and cultural appearances. Tedja says he wants to be accepted and acknowledged by who he is as an individual, because of his own course and not of what other people say about him. He wants to be walking around the wall of history to create something new. “Everyone talks about inclusiveness, but my work is absolutely not. What I do is exclusi- ve and I want to keep it that way.”

Inner creatures is not only inspired by the art piece Narrow escape, it captures Michael Tedja values about what an art piece tells. My studie's needed to be free in spirit and get to your imaginations about extraterrestrial beings, and inner creatures.
